One of the things that I’ve overlooked (well not really overlooked, maybe assumed would be a better word) is my skin regimen while in Sydney. I knew beforehand that it was winter and that temperature could get as low as 5 degrees celsius (it went down to 4 a couple of days ago). Being that I have oily skin, I assumed that my skin regimen back in the Philippines (which consists of using Body Shop’s tea tree facial wash and toner and a L’oreal water-based moisturizer) would work for me regardless of the weather. Boy, was I so wrong!

I ended up buying all of the above!

This time last year, I was in Bohol doing the island-hopping tour with my family. One of the islands we visited was Balicasag, a marine sanctuary where I saw corals, colorful fishes, and a school of Talakitok, lots of them, forming what looks to me like a funnel! I hope Camiguin Action’s offer for free diving lessons is still open. Anyway, I took some underwater pics using a digital camera and here are some of them:

I’ve been seeing pictures of this adventure park for some time from my FB friends and decided to visit the place while I was in CDO. I sent a text message to their sun number (as posted in their website) and despite not receiving any reply, decided to push thru anyway since it’s a holiday (Christmas!) and assumed that they’ll be open.

Remember my not so stellar experience with the Loboc river cruise buffet on my first bohol trip here? This time, I made sure that I was on the right boat, well at least the boat that offered the best buffet (compared to the others). The driver assured me that feedbacks before for this river cruise was okay, if not great. So despite doubts and apprehensions that this might yet be another waste of PhP 300.00 (make that more than 2k because there were eight of us), I decided to take his advise and stepped on the Riverwatch.
