One of the unassuming food places dotting Divisoria tucked away in its own little corner is Hanabel. I think a lot of Xavier University graduates in CDO must have at least eaten here once – except for me! That’s why when I was there last month, I decided to check it out.

Another restaurant that recently opened in my home city, aside from Missy Bon Bon, is Siam which offers Thai dishes. Another resto from the Krua Thai group in Davao (haven’t really eaten at Krua Thai in Davao yet but have passed by the place a number of times and I always thought I ought to try the place but have never gotten around yet to doing it). It was a Saturday evening when we went there and guess what? There was a wait-list! A wait-list for a resto in Cagayan de Oro! I guess, I haven’t been out much in the city for some time.

I’ve featured other places here in my blog but not my home city – Cagayan de Oro. I think it’s about time I pay homage to the city I grew up in specially that I was home for several days and was given the opportunity to see it in a new way. New because a lot of restaurants have cropped up since I’ve been back specifically in the Lim Ket Kai area one of which is the Missy Bon Bon Breadshop.

Would you think this establishment is a breadshop? It looks so cute (and out of place from all the concrete, it actually stands out. maybe that’s what the management was going for).

I’ve been seeing pictures of this adventure park for some time from my FB friends and decided to visit the place while I was in CDO. I sent a text message to their sun number (as posted in their website) and despite not receiving any reply, decided to push thru anyway since it’s a holiday (Christmas!) and assumed that they’ll be open.
