Last October, I purchased tickets bound for Singapore from Cebu Pacific when they had their international seat sale which I wrote about here. That’s why I’ve been on a lookout for hotel promos in Singapore and have come across this, an exclusive deal for Mastercard cardholders, stay 3 nights for the price of 2! I’ve already reserved for a 4-night stay at the Grand Mercure Roxy. On top of this, we’ve also purchased an Accor Advantage Plus membership card to avail of the 10% discount on room accommodation. I’m so excited to finally set foot outside the Philippines! Wahahaha!

So where are you off to this 2010?

After spending Christmas in CDO, we (Ariz, Euna, and I) flew to Davao via Cebu Pacific to spend the New Year with Ariz’s family. We purchased the tickets last October and reserved (paid) for bulkhead seats. I did this because I knew that with Cebu Pacific planes, the seats that’d allow me the most room are the bulkhead seats where there will be no chair in front of me. Unfortunately, I didn’t read the fine print and was told by a Cebu Pacific staff while checking in that she couldn’t give us the bulkhead seats we reserved for since it is also the emergency exit. As a safety standard, only able-bodied adults without an infant can be seated in the bulkhead seats. I understood the situation but what I couldn’t understand was how the system could have allowed us to reserve for the seats when I’ve also specified that we were bringing an infant with us.

EUNA clearly stated as an INFANT. And yes, I definitely paid for those seats!

I’ve been seeing pictures of this adventure park for some time from my FB friends and decided to visit the place while I was in CDO. I sent a text message to their sun number (as posted in their website) and despite not receiving any reply, decided to push thru anyway since it’s a holiday (Christmas!) and assumed that they’ll be open.
